Nate is a Research Scientist at MedStar Health Research Institute in the National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare in Washington, DC. Nate has expertise in EHR configuration, empirical research methods, and statistical analysis. Prior to obtaining his PhD, he worked at Cerner Corporation for five years as a product manager and implementation specialist. Nate completed his PhD in Health Policy & Management in 2020 from the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at Indiana University, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in health services research at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics.

Jenna Bilinski has held several senior-level positions in public health and nursing, including Chief Integrative Officer, Health Operations Chief, and Performance Improvement Director. In her role as Performance Improvement Director, Jenna led teams of experts in quality improvement, curriculum development and strategic deployment using Lean methodology. In addition to her leadership roles, Jenna is a frequent speaker, writer and coach on topics related to healthcare leadership and quality improvement. She received her BSN in Nursing from Clemson University and her MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Dr. Elie is a Professor and Chair of Emergency Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her programmatic and operational design experience includes the development of institutional wide sepsis programs and early palliative intervention with a focus on improving quality of life through timely acute care and palliative measures. Dr. Elie attended medical school at the State University of New York in Brooklyn and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center followed by a Trauma and Surgical Care Fellowship at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center\University of Maryland.

Dr. Lyn was previously Chairman of Emergency Medicine for multiple emergency departments at North Shore Medical Center/Mass General Brigham in Boston. He has served in multiple clinical and administrative capacities including Clinical Director and Director of Faculty Affairs at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Dignity Health Care and Senior Advisor on multiple consultation projects. Dr Lyn attended medical school at University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his Emergency medicine residency at Los Angeles County/USC Keck School of Medicine where he also received a MSc in Medical Education and a Fellowship in Faculty Development.

Dr. Lewiss is a Professor of Emergency Medicine, Healthcare Designer, and Podcaster. She is an award winning speaker including TEDMED and is a TimesUp Healthcare founding member. Her design focus has been ultrasound devices with leadership in quality improvement, education, and emergency department workflows. In addition to academic publications, Dr. Lewiss has published in Harvard Business Review, Slate, Nature, and Fast Company. She is the 2024 co-author of MicroSkills: Small Actions, Big Impact (HarperCollins). Dr Lewiss attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, completed Emergency Medicine residency at Harvard, and a clinical ultrasound fellowship at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt.

Gopa is a Registered Nurse certified in TNCC, ACLS and BCLS with over 25 years of Nursing experience. She has worked over 22 years as an Emergency Medicine Nurse including in the role of Charge Nurse in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center. Her experience outside the Emergency Department includes working as a nurse in Interventional Radiology and a Pain Clinic. Her skills include working in multi-disciplinary teams, training and educating new staff as well as collaborating on a number of Emergency Department initiatives around improving patient quality and safety. Dr. Steinkamp is a primary care physician, software developer, and medical informatician working at Brown Medicine. He has many years of experience in software development, data analytics, machine learning, and process automation in healthcare contexts. Dr. Steinkamp has worked with the Boston Medical Center Department of Quality building automated pipelines to identify missed follow-up for clinical imaging findings and the Penn Medicine Data Analytics Center where he helped pilot a big data cloud computing environment for medical researchers.
